ONE MORE DAY OF COLD TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA TODAY.
HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES THROUGH
TONIGHT WITH A WESTERLY FLOW CONTINUING TO PUMP ARCTIC AIR INTO THE
REGION.

MIDDLE AND HIGH CLOUDS WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING AS A WARM FRONT APPROACHES. THE FRONT WILL LIFT THROUGH
THE AREA TONIGHT WITH LOW TEMPERATURES IN MANY LOCATIONS OCCURRING
BEFORE MIDNIGHT...REMAINING STEADY OR SLOWLY RISING THEREAFTER AS
WINDS BECOME SOUTHERLY.

PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WILL PREVAIL ON THURSDAY WITH A COLD FRONT
TRACKING ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES
WILL BE WARMER...BUT STILL AROUND 10 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL RANGING
FROM THE UPPER 30S NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY TO LOWER TO MID
40S FROM THE METRO AND POINTS EAST.
