ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE INTO
MONDAY NIGHT AS A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY SLOWLY DISSIPATES OVER THE
TRI-STATE. HIGHS TODAY SHOULD BE A FEW DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL...WITH
READINGS POSSIBLY REACHING THE 90 DEGREE MARK IN URBAN PORTIONS OF
NORTH EAST NEW JERSEY. LOWS TONIGHT SHOULD BE AROUND 5 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL AND HIGHS ON MONDAY SHOULD BE NEAR NORMAL.

HIGH PRESSURE THEN BUILDS IN THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK WITH
INCREASINGLY HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS FOR THE AREA. OTHER THAN A
SLIGHT CHANCE OF A LINGERING SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM OVER FAR EASTERN
PORTIONS OF THE TRI-STATE ON TUESDAY...IT SHOULD BE DRY TUESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY.

HIGHS TUESDAY WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S
AND FROM AROUND 90 TO THE MID 90S ON WEDNESDAY. IT WILL BE SLIGHTLY
COOLER FOR COASTAL SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT AND ALONG THE TWIN FORKS OF
LONG ISLAND.
