The milder trend to temperatures will continue overall through
today and Tuesday but will turn sharply downward for midweek.
High pressure builds in today, providing sunny conditions with max
temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s for most locations.

Clouds increase tonight as a frontal system passes southeast of
the region with some light precipitation a possibility late
tonight into early Tuesday. Interior locations could see this as a
wintry mix while along the coast will be mainly rain.

Drier conditions return Tuesday along with temperatures rising
into the 50s for much of the region. A strong cold front though
will be moving across Tuesday night, bringing a cold Canadian
airmass in for midweek with high plummeting into the 30s
