HIGH PRESSURE IN THE ATLANTIC PUSHES FURTHER EAST TONIGHT...
ALLOWING FOR A COLD FRONT TO APPROACH FROM THE NORTHWEST.
THIS WILL BEGIN TO INCREASE THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS FOR SUNDAY. WITH WARM AND MOIST AIR IN PLACE AREAS
OF FOG COULD FORM LATE TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

THE COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION SLOWLY ON SUNDAY. THIS WILL
PRESENT THE POTENTIAL FOR NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE NYC METRO AND POINTS NORTH AND WEST SUNDAY AFTERNOON
INTO EVENING. HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE POSSIBLE IN ANY STORM THAT
DEVELOPS. THE FRONT SLOWLY PUSHES SOUTH SUNDAY NIGHT WITH SHOWERS
LIKELY...ALONG WITH A FEW STORMS AS WELL.

WEAK WAVES OF LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK ALONG THE FRONT MONDAY INTO
TUESDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREAT DURING THIS
TIME. THE FRONTAL SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO CLEAR THE REGION LATE
TUESDAY...WITH DRY WEATHER RETURNING FOR WEDNESDAY.
