Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
330 PM EDT Fri Sep 23 2016

Clouds will be on the increase tonight as a cold front moves
through the tri-state. This front will bring with it a chance for
showers, mainly late tonight. There may be a rumble of thunder as
well. Lows will continue to average on the warm side, with
temperatures ranging from the middle 50s inland, to the lower to
middle 60s in the New York City metro area.

Saturday will feature decreasing clouds with clear skies by the
afternoon as the cold front pushes farther offshore. The cold
front will usher in more fall-like temperatures, with highs
ranging from the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Thereafter, temperatures will be at or below normal through the
beginning of the new work week. Conditions will be dry as high
pressure builds in from the northwest.
