Dry weather is expected through tomorrow night as high pressure
pushes off the east coast. Under clear skies and light southwest
winds, temperatures will be a near normal for this time of year,
in the middle to upper 60s along the coast and into the New York
City metro area. Middle to upper 50s are forecast for the outlying

The area will undergo a warming trend beginning Thursday as
a southwesterly flow pumps in heat and humidity. High on Thursday
will rise into the middle to upper 80s with some isolated lower
90s possible in the New York City and Northeast New Jersey. Friday
will be even warmer, with highs ranging from the upper 80s to
lower 90s. With dewpoints rising into the upper 60s to around 70
Friday afternoon, temperatures will feel more like the upper 90s
in the New York City metro area.

The next chance for any precipitation will be late in the day
Friday into Friday night as a cold front approaches from the west.
