Behind a cold front drier and much colder air will filter into the
region overnight. By Saturday morning temperatures will fall into
the middle 20s to around 30 across New York City and coastal
sections, with lower 20s well inland.

Plenty of sunshine is expected to begin the weekend on Saturday
with temperatures more seasonable for this time of year. By the
afternoon clouds will begin to increase in advance of the next
storm system which will impact the region Saturday night. Mainly
snow is expected, with a period of rain and snow at the onset
across coastal sections of Long Island. An accumulating snowfall
is expected across the entire region. The snow will end from west
to east early Sunday morning.

Skies will clear quickly during Sunday morning with temperatures
turning milder by the afternoon. Highs on Sunday are expected to
reach the middle and upper 40s.
