Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
328 PM EDT Sun Apr 23 2017

Conditions will remain dry tonight as the center of high pressure
pushes off the New England coast. Clouds will be on the increase,
especially late, as a storm system over the Southeast U.S. makes
its way to the coast. Lows will be near normal, ranging from the
30s in some of the outlying areas, to 40s most everywhere else.

Mainly dry conditions will continue for Monday. A few light rain
shower are possible for parts of the New York City metro area
late in the day as moisture from the storm system well to our
south moves into the area. Highs will be similar to Sunday, in the
upper 60s to around 70 away from the coast. Upper 50s to lower
60s are expected along the coast as flow off the ocean keep
temperatures down here.

The chances for steadier light rain increase Monday night as the
storm system continues its slow approach toward our area.
Unsettled conditions will continue into Tuesday.
