...THE REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CANADIAN MARITIMES DROPS INTO THE WESTERN
ATLANTIC WATERS...AND ONSHORE FLOW WILL ALLOW FOR A MUCH COOLER
AIRMASS INTO THE REGION TODAY. HIGHS WILL TOP OFF IN THE LOW TO
MID 60S FOR MOST COASTAL AREAS...AND IN THE UPPER 60S TO AROUND 70
FOR INTERIOR AREAS WEST OF THE HUDSON RIVER.

A WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTH THROUGH THE REGION TONIGHT. SOME
SHOWERS...MAYBE A COUPLE OF THUNDERSTORMS...ARE POSSIBLE WITH ITS
PASSAGE. FOG WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING. LOWS WILL DROP INTO THE 50S.

SHOWERS WITH SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ON TUESDAY AS A
COLD FRONT APPROACHES AND WORKS ITS WAY ACROSS THE REGION LATE IN
THE DAY AND DURING THE EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM UP ON
TUESDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 60S TO AROUND 70 FOR MOST
AREAS...AND A FEW DEGREES COOLER FOR COASTAL AREAS. HIGHS WILL TOP
OFF IN THE UPPER 70S FOR INTERIOR AREAS WEST OF THE HUDSON RIVER.

SHOWERS TAPER OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT TUESDAY NIGHT...AND THEN DRY
CONDITIONS WILL RETURN TO THE AREA FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK.
