WEAK AREA LOW PRESSURE WILL PASS WELL SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND THROUGH
EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. THE REGION WILL BE ON THE NORTHERN FRINGES
OF THIS SYSTEM...ALLOWING FOR SOME LIGHT SNOW...ESPECIALLY IN AND
NEAR NEW YORK CITY AND ACROSS LONG ISLAND. NO MORE THAN AN INCH OF
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

THE LIGHT SNOW WILL TAPER OFF LATE TONIGHT...AND END COMPLETELY BY
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...FOLLOWED BY CLEARING SKIES THURSDAY AFTERNOON
AS HIGH PRESSURE STARTS TO BUILD FROM THE WEST.

THE AREA WILL FINISH THE WORK WEEK ON A DRY NOTE...BUT THEN WINTRY
PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT AS A COASTAL
STORM APPROACHES.
