Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
424 AM EST Tue Nov 14 2017

High pressure slowly retreats to the northeast through Wednesday.
Even with this high though, most areas will see more clouds than sun
today. Highs should be around 5 to 10 degrees above normal, mainly
in the 40s across the Tri-State.

Clouds will linger into tonight, with lows around 5 degrees below
normal, with lows mainly from the upper 20s to mid 30s, except upper
30s in New York City and its immediate surrounding area. Wednesday
should be mostly sunny with highs a few degrees warmer than today.

A warm front approaches from the southwest Wednesday night, then
lifts to the north Thursday morning, followed quickly by a cold
front crossing the area Thursday afternoon. There should be some
showers on Thursday as a result, possibly beginning as a wintry mix
across northern interior portions of the Tri-State. Highs on
Thursday should be near normal.
