Regional Weather Summary for Southeastern NY, Northeastern NJ and
Southern CT
National Weather Service New York NY
358 AM EDT SAT MAY 28 2016

High pressure remains anchored over the western Atlantic through
the weekend. This will continue to bring unseasonably warm air to
the Tri-State area. The warmest locations will be north and west
of New York City as temperatures reach the upper 80s to near 90s
degrees. Onshore flow will keep locations closer to the coast and
across southern Connecticut cooler, in the lower to middle 80s.
The warmest day will likely be Saturday with temperatures a few
degrees lower on Sunday.

A few showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out both
afternoons, mainly across the interior. Unsettled weather is then
forecast Sunday night into Monday with widespread showers and
possible thunderstorms.
