A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING OFF THE MIDDLE ATLANTIC COAST WILL
MOVE SOUTH AND EAST OF LONG ISLAND AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM
THE WEST TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY. CLOUDS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT AS WELL
THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND DRIZZLE AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE HIGHEST
CHANCE OF SHOWERS WILL BE ACROSS EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHERN
CONNECTICUT TOWARDS DAYBREAK.

COVERAGE OF SHOWERS AND CLOUDS DECREASES LATE SUNDAY MORNING AND
AFTERNOON. THE COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO PASS THROUGH THE REGION
SUNDAY EVENING. A SHOWER CANNOT BE RULED OUT WITH THIS
PASSAGE...MAINLY NORTH AND WEST OF THE CITY. TEMPERATURES WILL RUN
SEVERAL DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL IN THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S.

A MUCH COOLER AIR MASS BUILDS INTO THE TRI-STATE FOR MONDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY BE IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S UNDER MOSTLY
SUNNY SKY CONDITIONS.
