Tropical cyclone Jose will slowly drift to the northeast with the
majority of the region remaining dry. There may be a chance for a
few showers across far eastern Long Island and Eastern
Connecticut. The winds will gradually diminish during the
afternoon and evening from west to east. Continued warm and humid
with temperatures ranging from the lower 80s across metropolitan
areas, to the mid and upper 70s elsewhere.

Breaks in the cloud cover will become more prevalent Wednesday
night into Thursday. Breezy and dry conditions are expected with
Jose remaining offshore.
