SOUTHERN CT

340 PM EST SAT NOV 22 2014

THE WIND DIRECTION STARTED A SHIFT TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST DURING THE
DAY SATURDAY. THIS DIRECTION OF WIND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY
SUNDAY...AND WILL PROVIDE A WARM UP ACROSS THE LOCAL AREA.
HOWEVER...THE MILDER DIRECTION OF WIND WILL ALSO BE MORE MOIST.

THE MOISTURE WILL FIRST BE RECOGNIZED BY AN INCREASE IN CLOUD COVER
THIS EVENING. THE CLOUDS MAY EVEN PRODUCE A FEW PERIODS OF LIGHT
RAIN...OR EVEN SOME POCKETS OF FREEZING RAIN IN THE FAR NORTHWEST
REGIONS. FOR THE MOST PART...MOST SECTIONS WILL BE CLOUDY AND NOT AS
COLD WITH LOWS DROPPING TO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S.

SUNDAY SHOULD DAWN MOSTLY CLOUDY...BUT AS THE MORNING HOURS GO
BY...WE SHOULD START TO SEE AT LEAST PARTLY SUNNY SKIES.
TEMPERATURES WILL FINALLY BE CLOSE TO SEASONAL AVERAGES...AS THEY
PUSH UP TO THE MIDDLE 50S.

A STRONG MIDWEST STORM WILL TAKE SHAPE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MOVE TOWARD
THE GREAT LAKES. ON THE EASTERN SIDE OF THIS LARGE SYSTEM...A SWATH
OF RAIN WILL MOVE UP THE EAST COAST. THIS RAIN WILL MOVE INTO THE
REGION LATE SUNDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY MONDAY. A SOAKER
IS EXPECTED WITH RAINFALL AMOUNTS GETTING CLOSE TO AN INCH BY MONDAY
MORNING. RAIN SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH MONDAY AS
TEMPERATURES WARM UP TOWARD RECORD LEVELS...WELL UP INTO THE 60S.
