Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region

High pressure will slowly drift east allowing for a southwesterly
flow of warmer and more humid air to move into the region. Low
temperatures tonight will be primarily in the 60s, and near 70 in
New York City.

Dry conditions will continue through much of Thursday with an
increase in clouds during the afternoon. Temperatures will begin
to climb above normal with highs climbing into the mid and upper
80s, with lower 80s for eastern coastal locations. For Thursday
night there will be a slight chance of showers as a weak
disturbance approaches from the west.

Hot and humid on Friday with temperatures reaching the upper 80s
to around 90. A cold front will push across the area leading to
the slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Skies will clear
behind the front for Friday night into the weekend as less humid
air works into the region.
