An arctic airmass builds over the region today then drifts to the
north tonight into Monday. Despite sunny conditions, temperatures
will reach highs in the lower to mid 20s across the region. A
northerly flow will add to the cold as wind chill values range
from 10 to 15 degrees.

Tonight will be mostly clear and cold with diminishing wind. Lows
will range from around 2 below zero across the lower Hudson Valley
to the single digits above zero across southern Connecticut and
northeastern New Jersey, and 10 to 15 across Long Island and New
York City.

Clouds increase Monday ahead of a clipper system. This low will
bring a chance of light snow late Monday night into Tuesday.
Monday`s highs will be in the mid and upper 20s, with lows Monday
night ranging from around 15 inland to the lower and mid 20s along
the coast.
