...Two Rounds of Heavy Rain expected this week...

* SUMMARY...An active weather pattern will bring two rounds of
  showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall across
  Middle Tennessee this week, with the first round expected
  tonight into Wednesday, and the second round from Friday into
  Saturday.

* WHAT...Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are forecast from
  tonight into Wednesday, with the heaviest amounts falling near
  the Alabama border. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 4 inches
  are possible from Friday into Saturday morning. Total rainfall
  this week could reach anywhere from 2 up to 7 inches, which may
  lead to flooding in some areas from Friday into the upcoming
  weekend.

* WHERE...All of Middle Tennessee, with the heaviest rain expected
  in southern Middle Tennessee counties near the Alabama border.

* WHEN...Tonight into Wednesday (round 1) and then on Friday into
  Saturday (round 2).

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy rainfall could lead to flooding and rises on area rivers
and lakes, especially from Friday into the upcoming weekend.
