THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK IN SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA WILL EXPIRE AT 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS WITH
HEAVY RAIN MOVED ACROSS PORTIONS OF JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK EARLIER
THIS EVENING AND LED TO THE ISSUANCE OF MULTIPLE SMALL STREAM FLOOD
ADVISORIES. FLASH FLOODING WAS NOT OBSERVED IN THE PARK.

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY DIMINISHED OVER THE PAST HOUR AND
THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH FLOODING HAS ENDED. AS A RESULT
THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 8 PM PDT THIS
EVENING.
