The river flood warning for the Lavaca River near Edna is canceled.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or other news sources for further updates.

* At 5 AM Tuesday the stage was 14.6 feet
* The river fell below flood stage at Monday evening and within banks earlier this morning.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet
* Forecast...The river is expected to continue falling
