The National Weather Service in JACKSON KY has issued a

Central Magoffin County in southeastern Kentucky...

* At 1232 AM EDT, the county dispatch had reported that Burning
Fork, Dotson Branch, and Birch Branch and nearby roads were
flooded. Heavy rainfall has exited the area; however, flood waters
will be slow to recede. Also, the Licking River will be rising

Burning Fork, Swampton, Royalton, West Royalton Station, Carver
Station, Skaggs, Conley Station, Sublett and Lakesville.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
