THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR APACHE...COCONINO...NORTHERN
GILA...NAVAJO...AND YAVAPAI COUNTIES IN NORTHERN ARIZONA.

.DAY ONE...REMAINDER OF TONIGHT

MUCH OF THE AREA WILL EXPERIENCE A MILD AND HUMID NIGHT WITH VERY
LITTLE PRECIPITATION FALLING EAST OF FLAGSTAFF. TO THE WEST...RAIN
WILL CONTINUE WITH SNOW OVER THE KAIBAB PLATEAU AND PORTIONS OF THE
COCONINO PLATEAU NEAR THE GRAND CANYON. THESE AREAS ARE UNDER WINTER
STORM WARNINGS TONIGHT AND TOMORROW ABOVE 6000 FEET. AREAS OF FOG
ARE ALSO POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE MOGOLLON RIM
DUE TO RECENT RAIN AND SNOWFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA ON MONDAY.
EXPECT SEVERAL HOURS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN AND SNOW WITH THIS
FRONT AS OT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. THE FRONT WILL REACH WESTERN
YAVAPAI AND COCONINO COUNTIES BY SUNRISE AND WILL REACH THE I-17
CORRIDOR BY MIDDAY. THE FRONT WILL MOVE EAST INTO NEW MEXICO BY
MONDAY EVENING. SNOW LEVELS WILL FALL RAPIDLY TO BETWEEN 5000 AND
6000 FEET WITH THIS FRONT...BRINGING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO MANY AREAS
ABOVE 6000 FEET. A VARIETY OF WINTER WEATHER PRODUCTS ARE IN EFFECT
FOR MONDAY...PLEASE SEE PHXWSWFGZ FOR DETAILS.

COLDER AND DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO ARIZONA MONDAY NIGHT AND
TUESDAY...WITH LINGERING SNOW SHOWERS OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN. SOME
OF THE HEAVIER SHOWERS MAY PRODUCE ADDITIONAL LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS
MONDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
