THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN...
WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.WINTER WEATHER...
SNOW AND A WINTRY MIX WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA
DURING THE DAY TODAY. WARMER TEMPERATURES ALOFT ARE EXPECTED TO

TO CHANGE FROM SNOW TO SLEET... FREEZING RAIN... AND MAYBE EVEN
RAIN ACROSS PARTS OF OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. ADDITIONAL

AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE DAY TODAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND NORTH OF I-40.

THE WARMER AIR WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD INTO THE AREA TONIGHT
CAUSING MOSTLY FREEZING RAIN AND RAIN DURING THE NIGHTTIME HOURS.
THE FREEZING COULD CAUSE ICE ACCUMULATIONS UP TO A TENTH OF AN
INCH... WITH THE BEST CHANCE IN PARTS OF NORTHERN OKLAHOMA.

ALL THE WINTER PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY EXTEND OR LEAD TO
ADDITIONAL TRAVEL PROBLEMS ACROSS THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

.WINTER WEATHER..
A SERIES OF STORM SYSTEMS WILL KEEP PRECIPITATION IN THE FORECAST
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE COLD ENOUGH
AT TIMES THAT AREAS OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE OFF AND ON AGAIN SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...ESPECIALLY
IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA. ADDITIONAL LIGHT ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
WILL BE POSSIBLE WHICH COULD CAUSE MORE TRAVEL PROBLEMS.
