...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

Through midnight, showers and storms will continue across Frio,
eastern Zavala, and eastern Dimmit counties. Moderate to isolated
pockets of heavy rainfall will occur. Additional rainfall amounts
of 1 to 2 inches will be possible, and combined with earlier heavy
rainfall will result ponding of water on roadways and minor
flooding of low water crossings. Isolated cloud to ground
lightning strikes will also be possible.
