Light rain or mist will continue into the afternoon before the
precipitation transitions to snow. When it does a quick 2 to 3
inches is possible. Snow will linger into the evening with winds
on the increase and patchy blowing snow developing. Travel will
become difficult.

Rain is transitioning to snow across the Fargo Moorhead area with
a period of intense snow falling. A quick 1 to 3 inches of snow is
possible over a couple hours. As snow fall begins to lessen
winds will increase with gusts up to 55mph expected mid afternoon
into the early evening.

Light snow is diminishing from the northwest and continuing to
the east with winds on the increase across the Devils Lake basin
and the Sheyenne Valley. Visibilities across the area will be
worse where snow fall is in excess of 2 inches as winds increase
this afternoon.
