Light snow continues to fall across the area at 545 PM. Between 2
and 3 inches of snow have fallen in this area already. Expect
another inch or so of snow to fall before precipitation turns over
to rain or freezing rain between 9 and 10 PM. Travelers should
expect slippery roadways tonight.

Seattle and Vicinity-Bremerton and Vicinity-

Light snow has stalled on the King-Pierce county line. A heavier
band of snow sitting from Hoquiam to Olympia will lift northeast into
the Seattle area around 7 PM. Expect up to 3 inches of snow
around Shelton and 2 inches or less in the Seattle-Bellevue area
by about midnight. This will result in slippery roadways this
evening.

Light snow will lift northeast in the the Everett area and areas
around Admiralty inlet about 8 PM. Expect up to 2 inches of snow
to fall between 8 PM and midnight.

.NOW...
At 6 PM, light snow was falling along the Central Washington
coast. Snowfall totals have averaged around an inch. Expect
precipitation to change to freezing rain around Grays Harbor and
the Highway 12 corridor around 7 PM for an hour or two. The
precipitation will change to rain after that.
