...Windy Across Southern New Mexico and west Texas this afternoon
and evening...

.A deep low pressure system with a cold front will move across
the southern Rocky Mountains bringing windy conditions to the
region. West to southwest winds will gust from 50 to 55 mph...
mainly during the late afternoon and early evening. Blowing dust
will reduce the visibility to less than 2 miles over a few
locations mainly in the El Paso area.

* TIMING...Winds will increase from the late morning into the
  afternoon and attain maximum speeds between 4 pm and 6 pm.

* WINDS...West to southwest winds will have sustained speeds
  around 35 mph with gusts from 50 to 55 mph.|

* IMPACTS...The strong winds will create hazardous driving
  conditions...especially for high profile vehicles. Property
  damage will be possible over a few areas including downed
  trees and power lines. Blowing dust may reduce the visibility
  to less than 2 miles over a few areas including along
  Interstate 10 between El Paso and Las Cruces and also around
  Deming and Lordsburg.


A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
