...SUMMARY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON WV HAS CONFIRMED A
PATH OF STRAIGHT LINE WIND DAMAGE IN THE TOWN OF COALTON IN
JACKSON COUNTY OHIO ON AUGUST 10TH 2015. THE STRAIGHT LINE WIND
DAMAGE BEGAN ALONG OHIO ROUTE 93 AND WELLSTON STREET AND ENDED
ALONG THE EASTERN END OF TANK HILL STREET. A FEW LARGE TREES WERE
UPROOTED IN THE TOWN...AND SEVERAL TREE TRUNKS BETWEEN 6 AND 12
INCHES IN DIAMETER WERE SNAPPED ALONG RAILROAD AND EXLINE STREET.
A FEW STRUCTURES HAD MINOR ROOF DAMAGE FROM FALLING TREE BRANCHES.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE JACKSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FOR
ASSISTANCE IN THE DAMAGE SURVEY.
