SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS THE RED RIVER VALLEY THIS
MORNING WILL CONTINUE OFF TO THE EAST BEFORE NOON. A WEAK COLD FRONT
WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TODAY...SETTLING IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
BY AFTERNOON. SOME SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL ACCOMPANY THE PASSAGE OF
THE FRONT. THERE IS ALSO A RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF THE
RED RIVER SUNDAY AFTERNOON...WITH THE GREATEST THREAT FOR SEVERE
WEATHER IN LAKES COUNTRY OF MINNESOTA.

OTHERWISE...SLIGHTLY COOLER AND MUCH DRIER WEATHER WILL FINISH THE
LABOR DAY WEEKEND. FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE METEOROLOGICAL FALL IT
WILL BE SEASONALLY MILD. TEMPERATURES WILL SLOWLY WARM AS SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS BECOME POSSIBLE AGAIN FOR LATE IN THE WEEK.
