Early morning temperatures across the region started out in the
middle 50s to middle 70s. As south winds ahead of a cold front
started gusting to between 20 and 30 mph, temperatures increased
into the upper 80s to upper 90s by early afternoon. Mostly clear
skies this morning became partly sunny by early afternoon.

OUTLOOK...
Isolated thunderstorms are expected from this evening trough the
overnight hours with a few storms possibly producing large hail
and damaging winds during the evening.

Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous through the
day on Saturday. Widespread thunderstorms and areas of moderate
to heavy rainfall are expected to continue through the weekend and
into Monday before diminishing Monday evening. Areas of moderate
to heavy rainfall may also lead to an increased risk of flash
flooding. Temperatures will become much cooler through the weekend
and into the beginning of next week with highs only in the upper
50s to middle 60s on Monday. Dryer and warmer conditions are
expected from Tuesday through Thursday.
