Skies were mostly sunny across the tri-state region early this
afternoon. West winds around 10 mph were observed. At 1 PM MDT (2
PM CDT) temperatures ranged from 68 degrees in Kit Carson, Colorado
to 76 degrees in Gove, Kansas.

OUTLOOK... There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms
west of the Colorado border this evening. Temperatures drop into
the mid 40s to mid 50s.

For Sunday, a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms returns
to the region in the morning for locations generally along and
east of a Benkelman, Nebraska to Tribune, Kansas line. Expect
highs in the upper 70s to low 80s under partly sunny skies.
Precipitation chances increase through the afternoon and
overnight hours across the region with temperatures falling into
the 50s Sunday night.
