A departing area of high pressure allowed for sunshine and
southerly winds across western Nebraska today. Temperatures were
seasonable with highs generally in the mid 80s.

Mostly clear conditions will continue overnight with lows ranging
from the upper 50s in the panhandle to the mid 60s in north
central Nebraska. Highs will be slightly warmer for Sunday along
with south winds that could be breezy at times. Isolated
thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and evening, primarily
for areas south of Highway 2.
