An area of high pressure over the Dakotas has kept the sky clear
and winds light over northern Nebraska. Farther south, scattered
thundershowers have been developing over southwest Nebraska this
morning. Rainfall totals have approached one tenth of an inch in
spots. Morning lows ranged from the mid 40s near the Pine Ridge
to the mid 50s in parts of central Nebraska.

Fair conditions will continue this afternoon for most of the
Sandhills, while isolated thunderstorms remain for areas south of
Interstate 80. Highs will be rather mild once again with upper
70s to lower 80s. Lows tonight will generally be in the 50s
under partly cloudy skies with south winds around 10 miles per
