WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
300 AM CDT SAT JUL 12 2014

Temperatures were working their way toward or just exceeding the 90
degree mark Friday, and they`ll get there for all of us this
weekend.

Warmth and humidity continues its uptick with 90s and 70s
commonplace both today and Sunday. This will make it feel more like
the usual mid summer swelter. Not much relief will be available
outside the slim chance for an isolated shower or storm.

Big change is right around the corner, however, as a cold front is
taking shape in the meantime. It will make its entrance into our
area Sunday night and Monday, and should make its passage thru
nearly the entire region by Tuesday morning.

Rain chances spike with its presence Sunday night through Monday
night, then much cooler, and pleasantly drier air works in after its
passage for Tuesday through the remainder of the week. Highs in the
70s and lows in the 50s will be unusual but much welcomed
temperatures along with the accompanying low humidity for this time
of year.
