Weather Summary
National Weather Service Paducah KY
141 PM CDT MON MAY 2 2016

A disturbance is moving by to our south today with a large area of
rain and embedded thunderstorms streaming northeast from Tennessee
into the southern counties close to the KY/TN border. The rest of
the area has remained dry, along with mostly cloudy skies. A light
north wind is in place behind the passage of a cold front last
night. Temperatures are quite a bit cooler than yesterday with 1pm
readings only in the upper 50s to mid 60s. This is after morning
lows were in the low to mid 50s, which is near normal for early May.

Disturbances in the upper levels of the atmosphere will keep small
chances for showers in the forecast off and on for Tuesday into
Wednesday. The best chance is during the day on Wednesday, when a
few thunderstorms will also be possible, mainly over the northeast
half of the area. By Thursday, dry conditions will return and last
through at least Saturday night.

Temperatures will average a little below normal this week with
generally 60s to lower 70s for highs and 40s to lower 50s for lows.
Warmer weather will begin moving back in on Friday and by next
weekend highs will rise above normal into the lower 80s.
