An upper-air disturbance tracking from the central Rockies into
the central Plains will combine with a surface front situated over
the mid Missouri Valley to generate scattered thunderstorms later
this afternoon into tonight. A few of these storms could be strong
to severe. Ahead of the front...seasonably warm and humid
conditions are again expected with afternoon heat indices rising
into the lower to mid 90s across portions of eastern Nebraska and
western Iowa.

High temperatures this afternoon will be generally in the mid 80s
to lower 90s. Lows tonight are expected to be in the 60s to lower
70s.
