Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

Unsettled weather is expected into Tuesday across the Midwest, with
a couple of fronts and weak upper level disturbances moving through
the region. Scattered to isolated thunderstorms can be expected
during this period, with the best prospects for severe storms across
eastern Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle this afternoon and
evening, and again Monday afternoon and evening.  Otherwise, hot and
humid weather is expected to return mid to late week for eastern
Nebraska and western Iowa.

High temperatures this afternoon mid 70s northern Minnesota and
northeast North Dakota, to the upper 90s to 100 degrees a good
portion of Kansas. Lows tonight, 50s across northern Minnesota and
North Dakota, to the mid 70s in eastern Kansas and central Missouri.
For eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, highs in the upper 80s to
lower 90s, and lows upper 60s to around 70.
