Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
1000 AM CST Tue Jan 9 2018

Fairly mild temperatures and mainly dry conditions are expected into
Wednesday morning. Some light rain is possible Wednesday afternoon,
but the main weather action for the week will be Wednesday night into
Thursday. A storm system will bring much colder air back into the
area, which will change rain to snow and cause considerable blowing
snow for parts of the region. A good portion of eastern Nebraska and
southwest Iowa could receive several inches of snow. The snow, in
combination with the wind and blowing snow could create hazardous
travel.

High temperatures today across Mid America will be mainly in the 40s
and 50s. Lows tonight will drop into the 20s and 30s.
