Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
349 AM CST Mon Feb 12 2018

Surface high pressure stretching from North Dakota through the mid
Missouri Valley has contributed to generally light winds, mostly
clear skies with 3 AM temperatures ranging from 6 below zero to 8
above zero. Wind chill indicies were 5 below to 15 below zero.

A weak weather disturbance will move out of the Rockies into the
northern Plains today, supporting an increase in clouds across the
region as well as a slight chance of light snow this evening across
portions of northeast Nebraska. High temperatures today will remain
well below seasonal normals with readings of around 13 over northeast
Nebraska to the lower to mid 20s across southeast Nebraska and
southwest Iowa. Mostly cloudy but dry conditions are forecast tonight
with lows from 8 above zero to 17.
