National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE

A strong weather system over the eastern Dakotas early this
morning will drift east into Minnesota today...allowing a colder
air mass to filter into the region from the north. While the
majority of winter precipitation associated with this disturbance
will remain north of the area...the potential will exist for a
rain-snow mixture across portions of northeast Nebraska this
afternoon. The chance for light snow will continue through
tonight...mainly over northeast Nebraska into west-central Iowa.
Little to no accumulation is expected.
High temperatures this afternoon will range from the upper 30s
over northeast Nebraska to around 50 degrees near the Kansas
border. Lows tonight will be in the lower 30s.
