Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

Cooler high pressure will build into and across the Midwest, behind
the cold front dropping southward through the region.  On thursday
Kansas and Missouri will have the best prospects for showers and
thunderstorms as the cold front moves through those states, with
severe storms possible in southwest Kansas Thursday evening. Then on
Friday Nebraska and Kansas can expect the better chances of showers
and thunderstorms.  For the region comprised of the Dakotas,
Minnesota and Iowa, high pressure will dominate on Friday into the
weekend with minimal chances for shower and thunderstorms.

Low temperatures tonight, in the 50s to mid 60s, with the readings
in the 60s mainly across Kansas and Missouri into southern Iowa.
Highs on Thursday, in the lower to mid 80s across Kansas and
Missouri into the southern portions of Nebraska and Iowa, and in the
70s north of this region.
