Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

The best prospects for thunderstorms tonight is expected to be over
the eastern half of North Dakota into western Minnesota, and on
Tuesday for portions of Minnesota and South Dakota. Mainly quiet
weather is expected south of this region, across Nebraska, Kansas,
Missouri and Iowa tonight and Tuesday.  Otherwise, skies should be
clear to partly cloudy.

The warm front will move slowly away from the eastern plains, and by
wednesday morning is expected to reach, southeast Minnesota, central
Iowa and eastern Missouri. Meanwhile, the associated cold front will
drop southeast through the Dakotas and Minnesota.

Low temperatures tonight, mid 50s to lower 60s northeast Minnesota
to the lower 70s southern portions of Kansas and Missouri. Highs on
Tuesday, around 100 degrees south central South Dakota and the
central into western portions of Nebraska and Kansas, while highs
for Minnesota and North Dakota will be in the 80. For eastern
Nebraska and southwest Iowa, lower 70s for lows, and 90s for highs.
