Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

An upper level ridge of high pressure building into the Midwest,
will cause unseasonably warm and dry conditions. Temperatures will
reach record or near record levels today and again on Friday. This
mild weather should continue into the first half of the weekend. Our
next chance for precipitation will be Sunday night into Monday, but
significant amounts are not expected.

High temperatures this afternoon, mid 30s to lower 40s northern
Minnesota, to the lower to mid 70s for Kansas and most of Nebraska.
Lows tonight, mid 20s northern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota,
to the lower 40s for Missouri. For eastern Nebraska and southwest
Iowa, highs mid and upper 60s, lows mid and upper 30s.
