...Coded Cities Forecast (CCF) Product Issuance to End...

Effective Tuesday, November 22, 2016, NWS will discontinue the
Coded Cities Forecast (FPaa4i CCCC, CCFXXX) at WFOs in the NWS
Southern Region (SR) that issue it (see below). NWS asked for
commentsregarding the CCF in July 2009:

Based upon the comments received, NWS discontinued the CCF at
allWFOs except those in Southern Region in November 2010:

Through a continuous review process, SR determined partners and
usersno longer require the CCF because other products, such as
theeXtensibleMarkup Language (XML) products (RXUS30 KWBN /
XF03DY and RXUS30 KWBN /XF07DY) and the Point Forecast Matrices
(FOaa5i CCCC / PFMXXX) meet partner and user needs.

The remaining SR offices issuing the CCF will stop issuing it on
November 22, 2016. After this date, no NWS office will issue the
CCF product.
