THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING, MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 64 CORRIDOR, ACROSS
OUR NORTHERN COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AND SOUTHWEST INDIANA.
GUSTY WINDS, LIGHTNING, SMALL HAIL, AND HEAVY RAIN COULD
ACCOMPANY ANY ISOLATED STRONGER STORMS.

HEAT INDICES MAY FLIRT WITH THE TRIPLE DIGIT MARK THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON HOURS, ESPECIALLY ALONG AND WEST OF THE OHIO RIVER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

HEAT INDICES WILL REACH TRIPLE DIGITS OVER MUCH OF THE REGION EACH
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE BEST MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING, AS A
COLD FRONT MAKES PASSAGE ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS, SOUTHWEST
INDIANA, AND NORTHWEST KENTUCKY, WHERE A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE
STORMS HAS BEEN OUTLOOKED.

ISOLATED, MAINLY AFTERNOON, THUNDERSTORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT
THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD, TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, BUT
ORGANIZED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS NOT ANTICIPATED. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.
