This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Fire danger may be slightly heightened this afternoon, due to
relative humidity values dropping into the 30s percentile, mainly
across the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky.

Thunderstorms enter the forecast late tonight, mainly along and
north of a Cape Girardeau Missouri to Evansville Indiana line.
Heavy rain and Lightning are the primary storm associated hazards
to expect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Thunderstorms continue in the forecast Monday through Tuesday.
The best chance for a strong storm during this time period will
probably be Tuesday, in southwest Kentucky, where the combination
of a frontal boundary and atmospheric instability appears the
greatest. There is a marginal risk of severe storms for Tuesday,
with damaging winds as the primary severe storm related hazard,
and heavy rain and lightning more commonplace storm associated
hazards.

Another chance of storms exists Friday night and Saturday. Heavy
rain and lightning look to be the main storm related hazards.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters should monitor the latest forecasts and updates regarding
potential activation status.
