The wind damage event was mainly concentrated over Edwards and
Wabash Counties in Southeast IL.

The wind event occurred early Sunday morning.

Start time:             521 am cdt
Start location:         3 miles NW of Albion to 2 miles NW of West Salem

End date:               July 23rd 2017
End time:               547 am cdt
End location:           Just NW of Mt Carmel to just S of Mt Carmel

Scattered straight line wind damage across much of Edwards and Wabash
Counties. Within the overall scattered damage the most concentrated
damage was located in West Salem and Bellmont. Hundreds of tree limbs
and a dozen of so trees were blown down. Downed trees and limbs damaged
a couple of homes and several barns and garages. Numerous power poles
were blown over.
