...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 3/1/2017 Graves County (Cuba) TORNADO
EVENT...

.OVERVIEW...A tornado spun up along a line of storms early in the
morning hours while moving through Graves County.

The EF-2 tornado destroyed a single family residence removing much of
the roof and other portions of the house. In a nearby cemetery
several grave markers (headstones and in some case the base units)
were blown for distances up to 30 feet. One other home received
minor damage including broken windows. A machine shed was blown
from its foundation and a mobile home was blown partially off its
foundation. At least a dozen trees were uprooted with dozens of
others sustaining broken limbs or trunks. Another shed and barn
were also damaged from straight line winds just south of the
tornado track.

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph
EF4...Violent...166 To 200 mph
EF5...Violent...>200 mph
