Summary: A dozen trees were uprooted or snapped, many of them
being pine trees. A detached garage was blown down and a few power
poles were snapped. Around a half dozen barns/sheds experienced
loss of metal roofing. At least a half dozen homes had shingle or
facia damage to them. Straight line wind damage occurred across
other parts of Spencer County with numerous tree limbs down. A
tractor trailer was blown over on Hwy 231 north of Rockport due to
straight line winds.
