WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
256 AM CDT FRI JUL 24 2015

MURKY CONDITIONS PLAGUED MUCH OF THE REGION ON THURSDAY...WITH
PLENTY OF CLOUD COVER AND HIGH HUMIDITY. ONE BRIGHT SPOT WAS OVER
SOUTHWEST INDIANA AND THE NORTHERN PART OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS WHERE
HUMIDITY WAS LOWER AND MORE SUNSHINE APPEARED. ANY SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WAS CONFINED TO FAR SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND WESTERN KENTUCKY. HIGHS RANGED FROM THE LOWER
TO MID 80S. MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED OVERNIGHT WITH EARLY
MORNING TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S.

THE SLIGHT DECREASE IN TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY WILL CONTINUE TODAY
AS HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE OHIO VALLEY PREVAILS. HOWEVER...A TREND
TOWARDS HOTTER AND MORE HUMID CONDITIONS IS EXPECTED OVER THE
WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OVER THE
SOUTHERN STATES EXPANDS NORTHWARD. MOST AREAS SHOULD REMAIN DRY
THROUGH THIS PERIOD...ALTHOUGH AN ISOLATED SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM
CANNOT BE ENTIRELY RULED OUT.
