Cloudy skies moved into the Quad State area Thursday, in advance
of a strong upper level system moving northeast out of the Texas
and Oklahoma area. Morning lows were in the low 20s north to low
30s south while afternoon temperatures climbing into the upper 30s
to low 40s. Winds were generally from a north direction at 5 to 10
MPH.

A storm system will pass by to our south tonight and into Friday.
Portions of west Kentucky could be impacted by the northern part
of this system beginning Friday afternoon when a chance of some
rain and snow mainly across the Kentucky Pennyrile area, with much
smaller chances elsewhere. These chances for snow will continue
into Friday evening before ending. Highs on Friday will be in the
upper 30s to around 40 degrees. Temperatures will rebound into the
40s for the weekend. Dry weather should return for Saturday but
precipitation chances increase again on Sunday.
