340 AM CDT SUN MAY 1 2016
At early morning scattered showers and thunderstorms were noted
moving northeast across portions of the Heartland. Temperatures
ranged from the upper 50s to lower 60s and winds were generally
variable at 5 mph or less.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue along
and ahead of a cold frontal passage today. A few strong storms
are possible mainly over parts of southwest Indiana and northwest
Kentucky. A dry period tonight looks to be replaced by
precipitation chances on Monday as a disturbance passes by to our
south. Another cold front on Wednesday may bring more chances of
rain to the eastern sections of the area. High temperatures will
fluctuate through the 60s and 70s for the coming week. Lows will
mostly be in the upper 40s to lower 50s through the week.
