Clearing skies, from the northeast to southeast, occurred during
much of Saturday. Temperatures were unseasonably cool with morning
lows in the mid 40s north to the mid 50s along the Arkansas and
Tennessee borders. Afternoon highs had climbed into the low to mid
60s in many communities.

High pressure over the Upper Mississippi Valley will drift
eastward across the Great Lakes region overnight. Clear skies and
cool north to northeast winds will persist through the overnight
hours with near record low temperatures, in the low to mid 40s,
expected Sunday morning. Highs will be in the lower to mid 70s on
Sunday. A slight warm up will occur Monday, but only by a couple
of degrees.
