Weather Summary
National Weather Service Paducah KY
234 AM CDT SAT MAY 21 2016

More clouds with scattered showers were across our east, where
highs were only in the upper 50s in some locations. Westward,
highs ranged through the 60s, into the lower 70s in southeast
Missouri, as sunshine gradually overtook cloudiness the further
west you traveled.

This scenario will play out again today, with the lingering upper
cyclone producing diurnally enhanced showers that will be
isolated to scattered, mainly across southwest Indiana and the
pennyrile of Western Kentucky.

Surface high pressure then gradually works in Sunday and
ultimately works the lingering clouds out of the area, and
commences a warming period that will last on into and through the
coming week ahead.

Highs return to the 70s region wide tomorrow, and reach into the
80s Monday onward. Lows in the 50s will nudge into the 60s by
Tuesday night, which is also when the return chance of showers and
storms expands across the entire Region and persists daily for the
remainder of the warm week ahead.
