Weather Summary

Skies were partly cloudy over much of the Quad State Region this
afternoon with a small area totally overcast. Afternoon high
temperatures ranged from the mid 60s in the north and east to the
mid 70s in the south and west. Winds were easterly at about 5 mph.

High pressure should remain through the weekend. Low pressure
developing over the plains early next week should arrive by Monday.
South winds ahead of this system will bring warmer and more humid
air for Monday and Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will enter the
forecast on Tuesday, becoming more likely Wednesday and Wednesday
night as a weak cold front approaches our region from the west.

Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s Monday and Tuesday, and from
the upper 70s to lower 80s on Wednesday. Overnight lows will be in
the lower to mid 60s early next week.
