...WINTER WEATHER STATEMENT FOR SUNDAY NIGHT...

SOME ACCUMULATION OF SNOW IS EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT. AN INCH...OR A
COUPLE OF INCHES IS NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION...THOUGH IT IS A BIT
TOO SOON TO SPECULATE ON SPECIFIC AMOUNTS. THERE IS STILL SOME
FORECAST UNCERTAINTY...GIVEN THERE MAY BE A RAIN AND SLEET MIX TO
START SOME AREAS...AND A TRANSITION THAT WILL HAVE TO TAKE PLACE
FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION. SURFACE TEMPERATURES
WILL ALSO PLAY A ROLE IN ACCUMULATION EFFICIENCY. SOME IMPACTS TO
TRAVEL CANNOT BE RULED OUT SUNDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
