...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
TONIGHT...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South
  Carolina, including the following areas, in southeast North
  Carolina, Bladen, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover,
  Coastal Pender, Columbus, Inland Brunswick, Inland New
  Hanover, Inland Pender, and Robeson. In northeast South
  Carolina, Coastal Georgetown, Coastal Horry, Darlington,
  Dillon, Florence, Inland Georgetown, Inland Horry, Marion,
  Marlboro, and Williamsburg.

* Until midnight EDT tonight

* Additional excessive rainfall is possible this afternoon and
  evening where thunderstorms with heavy rain repeatedly move
  over the same area. Widespread additional rainfall amounts of
  1 to 2 inches are likely with the possibility of up to 4
  inches in spots.

* The potential for flash flooding will be highest in urban
  areas where drainage is poor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
