The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East central St. Johns County in northeastern Florida...

* Until midnight EDT

* At 956 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three to four inches of
  rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Saint Augustine, Saint Augustine Beach, Vilano Beach, Saint
  Augustine South and Anastasia.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.

Flood waters have already been reported in downtown St. Augustine
and conditions may worsen with the approach of high tide around 1045
PM this evening.


Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
