The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Aransas County in south central Texas...
  East central Nueces County in south central Texas...
  Southeastern San Patricio County in south central Texas...

* Until 1145 AM CDT

* At 952 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. One to two inches of rain have already fallen
  and an additional one to two inches is possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Port Aransas, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Ingleside On The Bay, Palm
  Harbor and Mustang Island State Park.


Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
