This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Drier air will continue moving in from the north resulting in a
decrease in thunderstorm coverage today compared to the previous
few days. Thunderstorm activity will be focused mainly over the
higher terrain during the afternoon and evening, with the best
chances across the central and southern mountains and adjacent
southern valleys. Locally heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds
are possible with storms today. Flash flooding concerns will be
more localized over steeper terrain and not as widespread as
previous few days.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A drier airmass will be over the region Sunday, resulting in
reduced thunderstorm coverage through Monday with storms limited
to mainly the higher terrain during the afternoon. Another surge
of moisture moves in as early as Tuesday, resulting in an increase
in thunderstorm activity through the coming week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
