AT 140 PM MDT...AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM WAS DEVELOPING NEAR
MANGAS SPRINGS IN GRANT COUNTY. THIS AREA OF PRECIPITATION WAS
TRACKING TOWARDS THE SOUTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 MPH. OTHER SHOWERS AND
STORMS WILL BE DEVELOPING ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF GRANT AND
SIERRA COUNTIES AS THE AFTERNOON PROGRESSES. LOCAL RAINFALL OF UP
TO ONE HALF INCH AND GUSTY WINDS TO 40 MPH WILL ACCOMPANY HEAVIER
STORM CELLS THAT DEVELOP ACROSS THIS REGION THROUGHOUT THE
AFTERNOON.
