...Air Quality Advisory in Effect Through Tuesday Morning, August

The North Coast Unified Air Quality Management District has issued
an Air Quality Advisory for the Klamath River Drainage including
Orleans, Weitchpec, Hoopa, Sawyers Bar, and Willow Creek.

Smoke levels in interior areas of northern Humboldt County are
forecast to be in the Unhealthy to Very Unhealthy category for
periods throughout the day and evening. These conditions could be
problematic for those with health conditions.

Smoke levels in southern Humboldt and Trinity counties are
expected to remain in the Moderate to Unhealthy category for
sensitive groups.

Smoke levels continue to be monitored. Updates will be provided as
conditions change.

Coastal areas of Humboldt and Del Norte Counties are forecast to see
patchy smoke and ash depending on weather conditions.

Symptoms that may be related to excess smoke exposure include
repeated coughing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing,
wheezing, chest tightness or pain, palpitations, nausea, unusual
fatigue, and/or light headedness.

If you have any of the symptoms listed above, contact your health
