Weather Summary for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
351 AM CDT Wed Jun 28 2017

High pressure over the Mid South today will keep dry conditions in
place along with temperatures remaining in the middle to upper
80s. Southerly winds will allow for a return in humidity levels by
Thursday. In addition, deeper moisture will surge north into the
region with increased chances for showers and thunderstorms,
especially across areas south of Interstate 40.

Unsettled weather can be expected for Friday into the weekend as a
front approaches and stalls out across the region. This front will
interact with increased moisture levels to support higher coverage
of showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain slightly
below normal with highs mainly in the upper 80s with lows in the
70s.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue into early
next week as a series of upper level disturbances move across the
region. Temperatures will remain slightly below normal for this
time of year.
